"Messiah" 2023

This year's Messiah was a smashing success! We had 54 singers, piccolo trumpet, pipe organ, and tympani. The sanctuary was full of audience and people had a wonderful Messiah experience.

This year's presentation included listening guides for each chorus sung; a special educational 'twist' for those who enjoy learning and listening.

Our “Messiah” presentation was Sunday, Dec. 2nd at 3:00.
It was fantastic! So fun! A portion of the free will offering taken that evening went to
Tornado recovery here in Marshalltown.
"Messiah" in 2017
Messiah 2017 was December 3rd at 3:00. Rehearsals were Sundays in November, beginning on the 5th, 2:00 - 4:00 at First United Methodist Church at 202 West Main in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Mary Giese, Gail Reese and Janet put together a presentation entitled"Getting Handle on Handel and His Messiah." This presentation is available for presentation to your club or church gathering. It is very interesting with a power point loaded with pictures and facts.
